FAQ's

Find below some of our most frequently asked questions!

Do I need to buy anything special for the camp?

No, we provide all the specialist camping equipment. All your child will need is a sleeping bag/duvet and pillow.

What to bring?

A full kit list will be provided and is available on the website.

My child has specialist dietary requirements, is this ok?

Yes, of course. Make sure your teacher is aware of any dietary requirements and we will plan in detail with the staff.

My child wets the bed, will they be ok to sleep over still?

Yes of course. It’s more common than people realise and the school staff will deal with it in a delicate manner.

What if my child wants to come home?

In all our years experience we have only had one child go home. Every effort will be made by school staff to support your child to stay.

Who will sleep in my child’s tent?

The teachers will arrange the tents taking into account friendship groups as well as a sensible mix.

How will my child know where to go if they need help during the night?

Some schools have a teacher awake during the night, but we provide all the staff with different coloured tents so the children know where to go for support.

Do you have a COVID 19 Risk assessment?

Yes, we are continually up-dating our COVID 19 risk assessments in line with current guidance. We also work closely with the schools to follow their specific needs as well.
